Step 1. Create a New HL7+ Installation in your Management Console then download and install the HL7+ Client Console software on your client computer/server.

 

Immediately after you create a new HL7+ Client Installation (see Creating Installations) in the Management Console (whether it is a LIVE installation or a DEMO installation) it is added to your HL7+ subscription account as Unassigned. This means that it has not yet been assigned (IE Activated) on a computer running the HL7+ Client software. So your next step is to download and install the HL7+ Client Console onto the computer/server where you need your HL7 interface to run.

 

 

 

Step 2. Get the 10 character activation Token from your Management Console and deliver it (if you are not the one setting up the client console) to your client. You can click the copy image () in your installations list to copy the Token to the clipboard. On the client computer/server click the Activate button in the HL7+ Client Console. You are then asked for your Activation Token.

 

 

 

 

Step 3. There is no Step 3! If the client computer/server has internet access and is allowing the HL7+ Client Console software out then the HL7+ Client computer/server will activate and assign itself to your HL7+ Installation. See Below.

 

 

 

 

 

What do I do if the internet is blocked? IF the client computer/server has internet access but is just blocking HL7+ then we strongly advise that you work with the local network administrator to unblock it and allow the client console software to access the internet. IF this is not an option see Installatons with No Internet for manual activation options.
