To open an HL7 data file in the Hex Editor select 'Open a file in the Hex Editor' from the 'Tools' menu on the main window.

 

 

 

The Hex editor is a separate program and has extensive local help which installs with the program. It is provided as a free add-on to the UltraPort HL7 Notepad and is provided as-is with no warranty expressed or implied.
